Hi Dave,

You're correct: the race entry fee does include a trail pass. But you'll need to pick that up at the Nordic center before you head up to the range. Just tell the staff that you're doing the race and they should hand over the pass.

Bien?

We'll be racing a Sprint format: 10km for the men (3 x http://www.coloradobiathlon.org/courses/swenson_crippler_long_wilson.pdf); 7.5km for the women and youth men (3x http://www.coloradobiathlon.org/courses/2.pdf); 4.8km for youth women, boys and girls (3 x http://www.coloradobiathlon.org/courses/4.pdf); 2.7km for the kids (3 x http://www.coloradobiathlon.org/courses/5.pdf). There will be two shooting bouts, Prone and Standing, for all categories except kids who will shoot prone both bouts. I have chosen courses both for their soul-destroying characteristics and, more importantly, I hope that they've been holding snow given our recent dry spell. Depending on how the weather plays out over the next week, there is a small chance I'll make adjustments to suit the conditions. Stay tuned...

We'll be running two waves and the first racer of the second wave will start as soon as we're through enough of the first wave to manage. I reckon that will put the second wave will start at 11:30, plus or minus...
